How Much Hookah Tobacco
Ever wonder how much tobacco to actually use for the hookah? It’s probably less then you think. To get the baste taste, use only a pinch of tobacco. You should barely have enough in there to cover up the holes on the bottom. Leave it loose! If you pack the tobacco down to much, it won’t burn as well and may be hard to pull. From the basin of the bowl to the top, tobacco should only fill it about half way. You’ll also notice the tobacco burns through more- you won’t end up wasting a lot of unsmoked tobacco, and you’ll enjoy a much smoother taste.

I have to disagree with you on that one Colin. I usually fill up the whole bowl with tobacco, only loosely though. I make sure I don’t pack it too high that the tobacco sticks to the aluminum foil afterwards. This usually works fine with me, if I can moderate the heat from the coal, lasts me a good hour easy.

Same method of control., i pack it loose and try to keep it from sticking to the foil. I also smoke a ton of hookah, so this way i smoke less tobacco and it wont burn =) I also have a double hookah bowl, that thing burns a good hour or so, with great smoke
